Conversion Process

Typical Motor Conversion Process:

  •    Motor disassembly

  •    Removal of original winding

  •    Rotor vibration checks

  •    Complete new winding according to new desired speed and patented technology spec with Class H insulation

  •    Installation of internal thermal protection

  •    Double dip and bakes of winding (depends on motor capacity)

  •    Replacement of:
  •              + Sealed and thrust bearings
                 + Grease and lubricant
                 + Defected bolts and hardware

  •    Testing of nucleus, core, and hotspots

  •    Complete paint of motor

  •    New technical data plate

  •    Cleaning
